Super-Senior Amateur Championship

Championship Format

• 54-holes of individual gross stroke play
• Cut to low 60 and ties after the second round
• Players will be repaired within their wave for Round 2 based off of scores

Eligibility

• Male amateur golfers at least 65 years or older - See the FSGA’s Competitive Fairness Gender Policy
• Florida Residency required
• Entrant is required to be a member of the FSGA and have an active Florida GHIN of 15.0 or less

Entry Fee

• $320
• Entry Fee Includes all course and cart fees, and FSGA Tee Gift
• Late entries will be accepted subject to a $10 late entry fee should the entrant gain acceptance into the field

  • Practice Rounds available
  • Complimentary players' dinner
• Monday, March 31st
  • Morning wave - Round one tee times begin at 7:45 AM off of #1 and #10 tees
  • Afternoon wave - Round one tee times begin at 12:30 PM off of #1 and #10 tees
  • Complimentary players' lunch from 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Tuesday, April 1st
  • Morning wave - Round two tee times begin at 7:45 AM off of #1 and #10 tees
  • Afternoon wave - Round two tee times begin at 12:30 PM off of #1 and #10 tees
    • Field cut to the low 60 players & ties following 36 holes
  • Complimentary players' lunch from 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Wednesday, April 2nd
  
  • 8:30 AM final round shotgun
  • Awards ceremony immediately following the completion of play
  • Complimentary players' lunch from 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Entry Priority

• Entries will be accepted based upon the order of receipt
• Entries received after the competitive field is full or after the close of entries, will be placed on an alternates list
  • Alternates will be contacted in the order of receipt of entry, if and when, a spot becomes available
• The Championships Committee reserves the right to hold a number of spots for past champions, and players with standing on annual and two-year points lists until the entry close date

Flighting

• After 18 holes, the number of flights will be based on the number of teams and the range of scores

Championship Practice Rounds

• Discounted-rate practice rounds will be available for $65.00 plus tax on Monday, March 31st and may only be booked through a Golf Genius Booking Link that will be provided at a later date.
  • Booking Link Practice Block - Sunday, March 30th: 11:00 AM - 11:50 AM & 12:50 PM - 3:00 PM
• Please call 352-588-9200 to arrange your practice round outside of the block; they will be at the lowest posted public rate if not played on Sunday afternoon.
• The proper place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range, hitting multiple shots on the course is unnacceptable.
