About the Golf Road Junior

• Golf Road in Boynton Beach is host to four premier golf clubs in Southeast Florida. Located within a mile and a half from each other, The Club at Quail Ridge, Pine Tree Golf Club, The Country Club of Florida, and Delray Dunes Golf and Country Club all have a long history in the game of golf. Pictured are the four original golf professionals of their respective club. Bob Ross (Pine Tree), Laurie Hammer (Delray Dunes), John Fleming (Country Club of Florida), and Charlie Bowie (The Club at Quail Ridge) have combined for over 120 years at their respective clubs and remain friends to this day. The Golf Road Junior was created as a tribute to these four great men and the clubs on Golf Road.

Divisions and Approximate Yardages

• Boys (13-18) - 7,000 yards (gross only)
• Girls (13-18) - 6,000 yards (gross only)

How Entries are Accepted (Different from Open events)

• Players with an unused FJT exemption will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis (if submitted before the entry deadline)
• After the close of entries, all non-exempt players will be ranked by their standing on Junior Golf Scoreboard at entry close date. The better ranked players will be placed in the tournament field until the limit is reached
• An alternates list will be posted to the FSGA website under "Tee Times & Player Information"
• Entries submitted after the entry deadline will be added to the bottom of the alternates list or used to fill any openings in the field

  • Times TBD - Round one tee times/shotgun (The Club at Quail Ridge [South])

• Friday, May 30th
  

  • 9:00 AM - Round two shotgun (Delray Dunes)

    • • Awards presentation immediately following the completion of play

How to Enter

• Entries are submitted through the FSGA website

• To enter, each player must create an FSGA account on this website (free to set-up), purchase a current Junior Membership ($45), and have an active Florida GHIN Handicap (included in membership if golfer does not already have one)

• To proceed, click the "Enter" button above once entries have opened

• Late Entry Fee: A late fee of $10 will be applied to entries submitted after the close of entries date. The entry fee and late fee will only be applied if the player gets accepted in to the tournament field

Practice Rounds

Delray Dunes Golf and Country Club

• A Practice Round Block for Wednesday, May 28th will be set up by the FSGA and made available for signups at a later date. The tee times will include the following window:

  • Wednesday, May 28th
    • 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM off Hole #1

• The price for a practice round is $50.00 + tax

The Club at Quail Ridge

• Practice Round information is not available at this time

The proper place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range; hitting multiple shots on the course, not filling divots, and not repairing ball marks are unacceptable and may cause removal from the tournament without a refund
