Hickory Golf Schedule

Schedule

Divisions

• Men's Division - 5,500 - 5,700 yards (Gross & Net)

• Women's Division - 4,900 - 5,100 yards (Gross & Net)

Format

• 18 holes of net and gross stroke play within divisions
• Each player will use their playing handicap for the day (95%)
• Handicap Indexes will be taken from the close of entry date
• Maximum score of 10 per hole is in effect
• Payout will be NET, then Gross. Gross payout begins when 4 players are in a division.
• Local Rule: E-5 Alternative to Stroke & Distance for Lost Ball or Ball Out of Bounds is in effect

Eligibility

• Men and Women professional or amateur golfers (18 years of age or older)
• FSGA/GHIN handicap required for ALL players (24.0 or less for men and 34.0 or less for women)
• Golfers who do not have a FSGA/GHIN handicap index from a FSGA member club may purchase a handicap online by clicking here.
• First time players without an established GHIN handicap will be eligible to compete in Gross portion only.

Rental Clubs

• For the events listed above, the FSGA will have a limited number of hickory rental sets available. (6 righty Men's, 3 righty Women's, & 1 lefty Men's)
• Sets can be rented for $15, and will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis

In addition to the FHG & FSGA schedule, both organizations are committed to running a state Hickory Open championship in 2021.
