FJT Indian Spring (13-18) *Exempt Only*

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla – Mykhailo Golod and Youyang Li captured victories at the Florida Junior Tour event at Indian Spring Country Club this Sunday.  This was Golod’s third win of the 2022 season and Li’s first career win.

Boys 13-18

Mykhailo Golod went wire-to-wire to take home his third win of the 2022 year after firing rounds of 67-69—136.  He held the overnight lead by one shot after his opening 67, a round that included 7 birdies.

Golod received some pressure early into Sunday’s second round as eventual runner-ups Diego Alvarez Perez and Lorenzo Rodriguez both got it to 6-under for the tournament and tied with Golod.  Despite and early bogey at the third, Golod would go on to birdie holes 6, 8 , & 10 to take his lead back to two.  Even par golf for the final 8 holes was enough to give Golod his two shot victory. 

Girls 13-18

Youyang Li took home her first career FJT win after playing the round of the tournament in her final round on Sunday.

After an opening 73, Li started he Sunday 5 shots back of the overnight leaders Chloe Kovelesky and Sirina Ganne.  She would go on to then fire one of the rounds of the year, an 8-under 64 that included 11 birdies, to come from behind and take a one shot victory.  Her 31 on her back nine included 5 birdies in a row to come from behind in dramatic fashion.

Ryleigh Knaub and Chloe Kovelesky finished in a tie for second.

• Girls (13-18) - 5,900 yards (gross only)

How Entries are Accepted

• Players with full exemptions will be given priority and entered into the field on a first-come-first serve basis
• After that, if there is still space available in the field, entries will be accepted based on how many active exemptions a player has (most to least).
• If necessary, a random draw will be used to break exemption ties for the last available spots in the field.
• STEP exemptions only count towards the number of active exemptions if there is still space available to fill the field.

Sunday, December 4th

7:30 AM - 9:27 AM - Final round tee times off the 1st and 10th tees
Awards presentation immediately following the completion of play

How to Enter

Entries are submitted through the FSGA website. To enter, each player must create an FSGA account on this website (free to set-up), purchase a current Junior Membership ($40), and have an active Florida GHIN Handicap (included in membership if golfer does not already have one). To proceed, click the "Enter" button above once entries have opened.

Late Entry Fee: A late fee of $10 will be applied to entries submitted after the close of entries date. The entry fee and late fee will only be applied if the player gets accepted in to the tournament field.

Practice Rounds

Practice rounds are available one week prior to the tournament on a space-available basis. Tee times are only available after 12:00 noon the weekend prior.  The price for a practice round is $30.00 + tax. Please call (561) 737-5510 to arrange your practice round. The proper place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range, hitting multiple shots on the course, not filling divots, and not repairing ball marks are unacceptable and may cause removal from the tournament without a refund.
