As one of the FSGA's most popular and prestigious events, the Women's Senior Championship was moved earlier in the schedule from June to April to allow women that may leave Florida during the summer months the opportunity to compete. Championship Format
36 holes of individual stroke play.
In the Senior Championship Division and Super-Senior Championship Division, flights will be determined after the first round and it will be gross play only.
In the Senior Field Division and Super-Senior Field Division, players will be pre-flighted based on their handicap index as of April 1, 2013. All Field Flights will compete for gross and net prizes.
The Championship Divisions (Senior and Super-Senior) will be flighted after the first round. Generally, divisions of more than 10 individuals will be flighted, however the Committee reserves the right to flight based on the number of competitors and/or the range of scores. The Field Divisions (Senior and Super-Senior) will be pre-flighted based on current handicap indexes. There will be a hole by hole play-off immediately following play in event of a tie for first place only in the Senior Championship and Super-Senior Championship Divisions. It is the player's responsibility to be present for any playoff.
Eligibility
Must be a female amateur member of the FSGA and have reached 50 of age by April 8, 2013.
Handicap Limit
Must have a Florida USGA GHIN Handicap no higher than 34.0. The valid Florida GHIN Handicap Indexes used will be from the April 1, 2013 revision.
Senior and Super Senior Divisions
There is both a Senior and Super-Senior age bracket for the championship. Players must be 65 years or older as of April 8, 2013 to be eligible to play in the Super-Senior Division, if they so choose. There will be both a Championship (Gross) and Field (Gross & Net) Division in each age bracket. Players must select which Division and Field they wish to compete in upon entry. No player may play in both age brackets or Divisions within age brackets.
Senior Championship Division - 5,800 yards approx. (Gross Only)
Senior Field Division - 5,400 yards approx. (Gross & Net)
Super-Senior Championship Division - 5,400 yards approx. (Gross Only)
Super-Senior Field Division - 4,900 yards approx. (Gross & Net)

Monday, April 8th
- 7:00 AM - 9:45 AM - Player Registration
- 8:00 AM - 9:57 AM - Round One tee times off #1 & #10 (Stroke play)
Tuesday, April 9th
- 8:30 AM - Shotgun (Playoff to immediately follow play, if needed)
- 12:30 PM (approx.) - Awards luncheon (included in entry fee)
Entry Fee
$175 Late entries will be accepted subject to a $10 late fee, charged only if player gains entrance into the field.
Awards Luncheon (included)
There is an awards luncheon immediately following play on the final round, April 9th. The lunch is included in your entry fee.

Senior Championship Division: 5,700-5,900 yards (Gross only)
Senior Field Division: 5,200-5,400 yards (Gross & Net)
Super-Senior Championship Division: 5,200-5,400 yards (Gross only)
Super-Senior Field Division: 4,800-5,000 yards (Gross & Net)
Tee Times
Round One tee times will begin at 8:00 AM off the 1st and 10th tees.
Round Two will be an 8:30 AM shotgun.
Practice Round and Practice Facility Information
The price for a practice round is $35.00 + tax. Please call (239) 495-2278 to arrange your practice round. The proper place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range, hitting multiple shots on the course is unacceptable.
Defending Senior Champion
Lynda Case, of Fort Myers, shot 75-71--146 to win the 21st Women's Senior Amateur Championship at Fiddlesticks Country Club. Trailing Mary Jane Hiestand, of Naples, by two strokes after the first round, Case came back with a one under par 71 to claim the championship title.
Defending Super-Senior Champion
Meredith Wolf, of Wellington, shot 84-93--177 to be the 2012 Women's Super-Senior Champion at Fiddlesticks Country Club. Tying for first with Melinda Morgan, of Debary, Wolf outlasted her in the first sudden-death playoff hole.

Spectators and Caddies
Please click here to read the spectator policy. Spectators and caddies are always welcome at FSGA Championships. Only players are allowed to ride in carts. If a player employs a caddie, the caddie MUST walk and the player's clubs must remain on the golf cart.

The FSGA Championships Committee/on-site Rules Committee reserves the right to alter any of the conditions, provisions and/or schedules. The decision of the Championships Committee/on-site Rules Committee in any matter will be final.
