~ Palm Course & Magnolia Course~
$125 per competitor ($250 per team)
Named for its majestic magnolia trees and host site of many PGA Tour events, the Magnolia course features elevated tees, spacious greens and challenging water hazards. Wide fairways invite you to hit the ball and hit it long, but beware - 11 of the 18 holes boast water hazards and 97 bunkers dot the landscape. Sloping greens, tropical sands, and beautiful lakes characterize the challenging Palm Course. For a look at the 2016 Championship results click here.
Championship Format
- 36 Holes of Net Four-Ball Stroke Play
- Maximum 104 player field size (52 teams)
- All players will play to 90% of their lowest index (LI) for the previous 12 months
- The course handicap differential between partners may be no more than eight (8) strokes. (If the differential is more than eight (8) strokes, the higher course handicap will be reduced to allow for the difference).
- Both team members will play the same set of tees based on the age of the younger team member.
Eligibility
- Male amateur golfer
- A valid Florida GHIN Handicap of under 24.0
- Entrant is not required to be a member of the FSGA
- Must be 18 years of age or older by the first day of the Championship.
- Players earn exempt status if both partners have won a One-Day net Four-Ball during the 2017 season playing together as partners. Winning will give the players the option to bypass their second event.
- Each player must have played in at least 2 One-Day events and register a score from January 1, 2017 through the close of entries on, November 15, 2017.
- Entries are first come first serve and are charged after each player has completed their 2nd event and a score is registered.
Entry Fee
$250 *Price per team* - Entry fee includes both competitive rounds, cart fees, tee gift, and gift certificate prizes
Late entries will be accepted subject to a $10 late entry fee should the entrant gain acceptance into the field.
Entry Priority
Entries will be accepted based upon the order of receipt. Entries received after the competitive field is full or after the close of entries, will be placed on an alternates list. Alternates will be contacted in the order of receipt of entry, if and when, a spot becomes available.
Handicaps
- Must have a Florida GHIN Handicap no higher than 24.0.
- All players will play to 90% of their lowest index (LI) for the previous 12 months

- For the purpose of the lowest index (LI) for the previous 12 months, the November 15, 2017 handicap revision will be included

Saturday, December 2nd
- 8:00 AM - Round One shotgun start *Palm Course*
Sunday, December 3rd
- 8:00 AM - Final Round shotgun start *Magnolia Course*
- Awards ceremony immediately following the completion of play
Course Set-up
- Under 50 Age Division - 6,500 yards approximately
- 50-64 Age Division - 6,200 yards approximately
- 65 & Over Age Division - 5,800 yards approximately

Practice Round and Practice Facility Information
Practice rounds are available one week prior to the championship on a space available basis. Practice rounds may be played after 12:00 PM Friday - Sunday. The price for a practice round is $45.00 plus tax. Please call (407) 939-4653 to arrange your practice round. The proper place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range, hitting multiple shots on the course is unacceptable.
Also, the Championship Committee is permitting practice on any competition course or part of any course on any day of or between rounds of the Championship. As a result, competitors are allowed to play a practice round on the course remaining to be played after the first round.
Carts
Carts are included for all competitive rounds. Players are responsible for practice round fees.
Defending Champions
The Men’s Net Four-Ball Championship named three teams champions at Walt Disney World Golf Resort. The teams of Andy Weber and Patrick Brisley, Brian Thomas and Danny Henley, and Brian Carroll and John Yohn captured their respective divisions.

- Caddies - Caddies are allowed in all FSGA Championships except Junior events. However, a player must not use a parent, step-parent or guardian as a caddie. The caddie MUST walk and the player's clubs must remain on the golf cart.

- Conditions/ Schedule - The FSGA Championships Committee/on-site Rules Committee reserves the right to alter any of the conditions, provisions and/or schedules. The decision of the Championships Committee/on-site Rules Committee in any matter will be final.
- Play-off Method - If there is a tie for 1st place in each division a score card playoff will be used. *Net Scores*
The final 18-hole score will be used first. If there is still a tie we will use the back nine scores from the final round as follows: last nine holes, followed by the last six holes, the last three holes, and finally the 18th hole to determine the Champion. If there is still a tie, a coin flip will determine the Champion.
