Girls (16-18) Junior Amateur Points System
Juniors earn points through FSGA and USGA competitions. They also earn points through state and national championships that are not solely for juniors. Points are used to determine the Player of the Year, Seasonal Points Champions, Junior Florida Cup teams, FJT exemptions, and AJGA exemptions. Points are not awarded after qualifying. Rather, only when a player actually starts the championship.
*Girls' Florida Junior Tour points were changed starting in 2021 to more accurately reflect the field sizes relative to the boys points system. Going forward, the top 10 girls in all FJT events will receive points rather than top 25.*

* Indicates Championships that use the match play format. Players earn points based off the last round of match play they reach (Ex. If a player loses in the quarter-finals, they would earn the points associated with quarter-finalists).
The FSGA Championship Committee will select players for Player-of-the-Year Awards (Junior, Amateur and Senior) and players for team competitions. The Committee will consider all factors including standings on points lists (Championship Points List, Two Year Points List and Florida Junior Tour Points List) and player’s success in FSGA, USGA and other select Championships of similar status. The Amateur Player of the Year Award may be a player of any age.
