Senior/Mid-Am Four-Ball Championship

April 4 & 5, 2009
- FORMAT:
36 holes of four-ball stroke play. The field will be re-paired after
the first round. Teams consist of one player at least 55 years of
age, and the other player must be 25-54 years of age as of April 4, 2009.
- TEE
TIMES: Round one tee times will begin at 12:00 PM off the 1st
and 10th tees. Round two will be an 8:30 AM shotgun.
- PRACTICE
ROUND: Practice rounds are available one week prior to the event. Practice rounds are restricted to after
12:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
The cost of the practice round is $30.00 plus tax. Please call (863) 676-6519 to
reserve a time for your practice round. The place to practice
your golf swing is on the driving range.
Hitting multiple balls on the golf course is unacceptable.
- COURSE
SET-UP: The golf course will be set-up approximately 6700-6800
yards for the Mid-Amateurs and 6300-6500 yards for the Senior
Amateurs.

- GPS AND RANGE FINDERS ALLOWED: In this competition, a player may obtain
distance information by using a device that measures distance ONLY.
However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring
device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might
affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the
player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is
disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are
actually used. The club is set up
to use Laser Link, Sky caddie.
9. FLIGHTS: After
18 holes. The number of flights will be based on the number of teams and/or the
range of scores.
- SPECTATORS
AND CADDIES: Spectators and caddies are always welcome at FSGA
Championships. Only players are allowed to ride in carts. If a
player employs a caddie, the caddie MUST walk and the
players clubs must remain on the golf cart.
- SCORECARDS:
Only one of the partners per team need sign the score card and each score
to count must be individually identifiable. See Rule 313.
