Established in 1921, Gainesville Country Club features a classic Florida layout. Originally designed by George Cobb (who designed the par-three course at Augusta National), the course's green complexes were renovated in 1994 by Mark McCumber, who maintained the course's classic architectural design. Gainesville Country Club sits on a hill overlooking the scenic Payne's Prairie State Preserve and the course features rolling fairways and massive pine and oak trees.
