Country Club of Ocala’s 18-hole Championship Golf Course...Central Florida’s
Best Kept Secret
Tucked in the woods of Ocala’s peaceful horse-country surroundings are 18
gorgeous holes of championship golf. Surrounded by a youthful and vibrant
community, our golf course boasts natural elevation changes, tree-lined lush
fairways, and meticulously manicured greens that will provide challenge and
enjoyment to every level of golfer. Our practice facility features three putting
greens, a 12-acre driving range with 4 target greens and tees on opposite ends,
and a specialized teaching area for our golf instructors to bring your game “up
to par”!
Since opening in January 1994, The Country Club of Ocala has hosted numerous
Florida State Golf Association, USGA, and Regional PGA events such as the
Florida Mid-Amateur Championship (2002), The State Senior Amateur Championship
(2000), The U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship Qualifying (1999), and The 1998
Southeast Challenge Matches.
Eligibility
Male or female amateur golfers that are members of the FJT may apply for
participation. Entries are subject to rejection at any time, including during
the event by the FJT. The reason for rejection may include unbecoming behavior.

Application Procedure
Tournament applications for this event may enter on-line at
www.floridajuniortour.org
Players must complete a membership form, read the Tournament Policies and pay
the membership fees before the tournament application will be processed. Entries
must be received by 4:30pm EST of the closing date. Telephone or fax request
will not be considered for selection. Players will receive an e-mail that their
entry has been received and a second e-mail will be sent when the player is
accepted into the field. As a player is not automatically confirmed into the
tournament, travel arrangements should not be made until the second confirmation
e-mail is received.
Entry Fee Includes
The entry fee of $95 includes Saturday and Sunday tournament rounds of golf,
range balls prior to the tournament rounds and a tee prize.

The Country Club of Ocala Cookout
A cookout for players, parents and guest of the Florida Junior Tour is being
considered for Sunday after play.
Practice Round
Participants can set up a practice round at a special discounted rate of $25
plus tax by calling 352-237-6644. Times
are available after 12:00 PM on weekends and on a space available on the
weekdays. All players must ride and if
under 16 parents may play an accompanying round for $45.
Walking and Pull Carts
All players must walk and carry their clubs during the competition rounds. Pull
carts will be permitted.
Directions
I-75 North
to Belleview Exit
#341. Turn right 2 miles to second traffic light. Turn left on CR 475 (not CR
475A) and travel approximately 6 miles to a four way stop light. Turn right onto
SE 80th Street and travel approximately one mile to the entrance of the club on
the left.
I-75 South to Ocala Exit #350. Turn left onto SR 200 and travel past
Paddock Mall to SW 27th Avenue ( CR 475A). Turn right and travel approximately 3
miles to SW 66th Street and turn left at that intersection. Travel a mile and
follow the road as it winds to the right and continue to a three way stop. Turn
left onto SW 80th Street and follow to the four way stop. Continue straight one
mile to the entrance to the club on the left.
SR 40 to Ocala and the intersection of US 441. Turn onto US 441 South and
travel approximately 8 miles to SE 80th St ( CR 328). You will know it is the
right intersection because there is a Sheriff's Substation in the median of US
441. Turn right onto 80th Street and travel approximately 1.5 miles to the
entrance of the club on your right.
US 441 North to Ocala and turn left at the Sheriff's Substation a few
miles north of Belleview. Travel on 80th Street approximately 1.5 miles to the
entrance of the club on your right.

Tees To Play
Tees are not set until the tournament staff arrives on site. Tournament set up
can change, including yardages, to offset inclement weather or other course
conditions (i.e. course conditions wet). Typical yardages are below.:

This event is a Junior Golf Scoreboard ranked tournament.
AJGA (Performance Based Entrance)
Registration
Registration will be available in front of the pro-shop beginning at 9:30 AM
prior to the first round. ALL players are expected register. First round
pairings, pace of play policy, local rules, hole locations and general
tournament information will be distributed at registration.
Tee Times & Pairings
First round pairings and starting times will be available on the Florida Junior
Tour website 3 days after the closing date and on Friday, February 3rd, at the Pro
Shop. After the completion of the first round, all competitors will be regrouped
by score within age group for their next round. Final round pairings will be
available one hour after the final score has been posted. They will be posted to
the FJT web site, on the scoreboard, and in the pro shop. It is the players’
responsibility to be at his/her respective tee at least 10 minutes prior to
teeing off. We recommend that you always see your tee time in black and white
and if you still have questions, please contact an FJT official at the host
facility.
Rules
USGA Rules of Golf will govern play. Local rules will be distributed at
registration on Saturday.
Pace of Play
Pace of play will be strictly enforced with anticipated rounds less than 4 hours
and 30 minutes. We strongly recommended that you become knowledge of the FJT
Pace of Play Policy. Pace of Play Policy can be reviewed on the FJT web site
under Tournaments section.
Spectators Carts
Spectators will be authorized to rent carts, but must follow the published policy (available on site). More information is available on the FJT web site under Parents.
