Ironhorse Country Club is a championship golf course designed by famed golf course architect Arthur Hills. In harmony with the natural beauty and wildlife habitat, the course winds through wetlands and forests enhancing the "Carolinas" feel of Ironhorse.
ELIGIBILITY
Teams consist of one player at least 55 years of age, and the other player must be 25-54 years of age as of March 26, 2011. Entrants must both be members of the FSGA.
ENTRY FEE
$310 ($330 - members who do not have an active FSGA/GHIN Handicap).
CHAMPIONSHIP
36 holes four-ball stroke play. The lowest gross team score for 36 holes will be the Champion. If necessary, there will be a hole by hole play-off to determine the Champions. It is the player's responsibility to be present for any play-off.

52 teams; 104 players
COURSE SET-UP
The golf course will be set-up approximately 6700-6900 yards for the Mid-Amateurs and 6300-6500 yards for the Senior Amateurs.
FLIGHTS
After 18 holes. The number of flights will be based on the number of teams and/or the range of scores.
TEE TIMES
Round one tee times will begin at 12:00 PM off the 1st & 10th tees. Round two will be a shotgun start at 8:30 AM.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Practice rounds are available one week prior to the event. Practice rounds are restricted to after 12:00 PM. The cost of a practice round is $35.00 plus tax. Please call (561) 624-5551 to reserve a time for a practice round. The place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range. Hitting multiple balls on the golf course is unacceptable.
CARTS
Carts are included for all competitive rounds. Players are responsible for practice round fees.

Co-Champions were awarded as the teams of Terry Hinkle and Curtis Madson and Kim Schwencke and Don Whittemore captured the 7th Senior/Mid-Amateur Four-Ball Championship at The Ritz-Carlton Members Golf Club in Bradenton

SCORECARDS
Only one of the partners per team need sign the score card and each score to count must be individually identifiable. See Rule 31-3.
SPECTATORS AND CADDIES
Spectators and caddies are always welcome at FSGA Championships. Only players are allowed to ride in carts. If a player employs a caddie, the caddie MUST walk and the player's clubs must remain on the golf cart.
CONDITIONS; SCHEDULES
The FSGA Championships Committee/on-site Rules Committee reserves the right to alter any of the conditions, provisions and/or schedules. The decision of the Championships Committee/on-site Rules Committee in any matter will be final.
