2008 & 2009 Women's Amateur Player of the Year
Wendi was awarded Amateur Player of the Year following her stellar play at the 2008 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship where she earned medalist honors. She carded rounds of 72-70 to take the top seed in match play where she advanced to the Round of 16. In 2009, Golden once again qualified for match play at the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur, and advanced to the semifinals.
