2023 Women's Player of the Year
Kim Keyer-Scott has earned Women’s Senior Player of the Year honors following a successful 2023 season filled with wins and top finishes. This is the second time in three years that Keyer-Scott has received this honor.
"I’m thrilled to receive this honor. This one is especially sweet because I finally see the end of the tunnel with my breast cancer treatment," Keyer-Scott said. " This is the first year in three and a half years that I’ve felt completely healthy and that I’ve gotten my strength back."
"It’s a blessing to play golf at all. To play at a high level is doubly rewarding. My heartfelt thanks to all that helped and supported me during my journey."
Most recently, Keyer-Scott captured a victory at the Southern Senior Amateur, a victory that secured the Player of the Year honors for the Bonita Springs resident.
Keyer-Scott advanced to the Semifinals at the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship at Troon Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. She took her Semifinal match to extra holes, falling to the eventual champion, Sarah Gallagher, in 19 holes. The 56-year-old also advanced to the Round of 64 at the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship.
Keyer-Scott also found success in FSGA Championships including a fifth place finish at the Women’s Senior Amateur Championship. She also made the cut and secured a sixth place finish at the Florida Women’s Senior Open.
