2023 Super-Senior Player of the Year
Anthony earned the Super-Senior Player of the Year for the third time in four years, after a successful 2023 season, that included an FSGA championship win and a number of top finishes.
"To be recognized by the state golf association in the state in which I reside is truly an honor," Anthony said. "Many thanks to the FSGA staff and the many volunteers."
The Jacksonville native captured the Super-Senior Amateur Match Play Championship in June, raising the trophy at Buckhorn Springs Golf and Country Club. He defeated Ken Palladino, 5 and 4, to capture his 13th FSGA victory.
Anthony added another top finish at the Super-Senior Amateur Championship, finishing in fourth place in March. The three-time Player of the Year also secured a fourth-place finish at the Two-Man Scramble Championship with Steve Sponder in July.
2020 Super-Senior Player of the Year
David Anthony earner Super-Senior Player of the Year honors, after a season that saw top finishes and FSGA championship Victory.
He raised the trophy at the Super-Senior Championship in October in wire-to-wire fashion. It was his first individual FSGA title since the 2002 Mid-Amateur Championship. The Jacksonville native also added a top-six finish at the Senior Amateur Championship, while also finishing tied for 11th at the Forty & Over Championship.
