IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT
INFORMATION
FORMAT: 36 holes of Stroke Play to identify the
low 16 scores for match play. Match Play will begin on Saturday and Saturday morning
at
COURSE: The
courses will be set up at approximately 6950 yards.
PAIRINGS: Two round pairings will be mailed. Match
Play pairings will be posted in the golf shop and at the scoreboard within 2
hour after the last group or playoff completes play. Also, the starting times
will be available on the FSGA web page (www.fsga.org)
and the Ocala Hilton.
REGISTRATION:
By
Remit
to the FSGA office, $50.00 per person for advance payment of cart fees at
Country Club of Ocala. Players may send
a check to the FSGA office or pay by credit card online through the account
manager or my account feature at fsga.org. Payment must be received by Monday,
September 30th, or you will be withdrawn from the
championship.
Failure
to meet this deadline will be considered tantamount to withdrawal. A place will then be offered to an
alternate. We stress that all qualifiers
must meet this deadline of, Monday, September 30th.
There will be no
registration the day before the Championship.
If we have received your payment for your cart fees by Monday, September
30th you have registered for the Championship.
PRACTICE: Practice rounds are
available Saturday (Sep 28th) & Sunday (Sep 29th) after
GOLF CARTS: All players must ride and caddies must walk.
DIRECTIONS: From I-75 (going north) take exit 67 turn
right to second traffic light. Turn left on CR 475 (not CR 475A) and travel
approximately 6 miles to four-way stop light. Turn right on

I-75 (going south) take exit 68 and turn left on SR 200. Travel past the
Paddock Mall to SW 27th Ave (CR 475A), turn right and travel
approximately 3 miles to SW 66th Street and turn left at that
intersection. Travel about a mile to a three way stop turning left on
ACCOMODATION: Arrangements have been made at the Hilton
Ocala, exit 68, at $79 plus tax per night; you may call (352) 854-4010 for
reservations. Remember to identify yourself as a FSGA participant when making
the reservation.
DRESS CODE: Appropriate golf attire is required at all
times while at the club. Shirts must have collars and shorts must be of at
