TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

1.      FORMAT: All players traveling to Lake Jovita Country Club are guaranteed an 18 hole-seeding round and at least one round of match play.  After the 18 hole seeding round, the field of 96 will be broken into a Championship flight of 32 players and four additional flights of 16. Ultimately there will be a Match Play Champion from the Championship Flight and four additional flights.

2.      WHITHDRAWALS:  Anyone “No Showing” for a match will be required to pay a $150.00 donation to the FSGA Junior Fund prior to being allowed entry into any future FSGA events. 

3.      GOLF CARTS: Players are responsible for their cart fees at their seeding round on Thursday only.  The cost of your seeding round is $25.00 plus tax including range balls.  Golf carts and range balls are included for all rounds of match play.

4.      DIRECTIONS: From I-75 take Exit 285 (Old Exit 59) (Dade City/SR 52) head east on SR 52 and proceed approximately 5 miles (follow signs for SR 52).  At the second blinking light bear right and follow SR 52 past St. Leo University.  Lake Jovita Country Club will be on your left hand side.

5.        ACCOMMODATIONS: Arrangements have been made at the Holiday Inn Express for $55.00 per night.  Call (813) 907-1379 and identify yourself as a FSGA competitor.  Additional arrangements have also been made at Lake Jovita Country Club three bedroom Villas for $189.00 per night.  Call (866) 588-3149 ext. 327 and identify yourself as an FSGA competitor for reservations. 

6.      REGISTRATION: A registration table will be set up outside the pro shop prior to the seeding round.  All contestants are requested to check in.  You will receive a tee favor and tournament information at the registration table.

7.      PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice times are available one week prior to the championship space available; Saturday after 1:00 and Sunday after 12:00.    The price of your practice round is $30.00 plus tax including range balls.  Call (352) 588-9200 to arrange your times. Remember, you are a guest at Lake Jovita Country Club and gentlemanly behavior and proper dress is expected at all times.  The proper place to practice your swing is on the driving range, hitting multiple shots on the course is unacceptable.

8.      CLUBHOUSE:  The grillroom and golf shop will accept cash, Master Card and Visa.
