Harmony Preserve (Boys 13-15 & All Girls) *Major*

Players and Parents;

We are looking forward to great tournament at Harmony Golf Preserve this coming Saturday through Monday. Please carefully read over the following updates and reminders:

Course

The approximate yardages are posted on the website. Yardages might be adjusted between rounds. Click here to view yardages and tee times.

Tees - Some of teeing grounds are a little thin, but that's what a tee is for right?

Fairways - The fairways are in good condition and there are very few bad spots. The fairways do have aeration holes, but you are able to drop off them if your ball lies in or on one (see relief procedure below).

Putting Greens - The putting greens are in good condition and should roll just fine during the tournament.

Rough - If you hit it off the fairways you may get what you deserve...a bad lie! There are some bare areas in the rough that are not under repair or abnormal to this course so these areas are NOT ground under repair. Play hard...or just hit in the fairway.

Environmentally Sensitive Areas (ESA's) - There are NO ESA's on the course. Please ignore any ESA signs. If marked red, these areas are a normal lateral water hazard. You may play from within these areas, but be careful because there are lot of snakes and alligators at Harmony!

Relief From Aeration Holes - If you ball lies "through the green" (fairways & rough) and you ball lies in or on an aeration hole you may, without penalty, lift you ball and drop it as near as possible to the spot where it lie but not nearer the hole. You may clean the ball before dropping. If this occurs on the putting green you may place the all at the nearest spot that avoids the situation, but not near the hole.

Food & Beverage

• The GRAZE Grill at Harmony is open 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM every day and accepts all forms of payment
• A beverage cart is scheduled to be on the course during all tournament rounds
• The GRAZE Grill is open on Saturday night until 10:00 PM for dinner
• On Sunday & Monday a Continental Breakfast and Lunch Grill will be available in the Courtyard. The breakfast bar and grill will only be able to accept cash.

Weather

Currently, the weather forecast looks promising. It is scheduled to be hot so prepare accordingly and drink plenty of water. Bottled water will be available on the starting tees and you can refill throughout each nine.

Rulings

There will five Committee members roving the course to assist any players that need help. If you need assistance and an Official is not nearby, please call my cell phone which will be listed at the bottom of your Notice to Players (the Local Rules & hole location sheet).
