38th Senior Amateur
Championship
Golden
1. FORMAT: 54 holes of individual stroke play. Competition will
consist of the Championship field (age 55 and over) and the Super Senior field
(ages 65 and over).
2. BY 3:30 PM,
THURSDAY, APRIL 7th, EACH SUCCESSFUL QUALIFIER MUST:
Remit to the FSGA office,
$200 for advance payment of championship fees.
Championship fees include cart fees, tee gift and range balls for all competitive
rounds. Players may send a check to the FSGA office or pay by credit card
online through the My FSGA/Account Manager or the My Account feature in
the quick
links section at www.fsga.org. Payment must be received by Thursday, April 7th, or you will be
withdrawn from the Championship. Exempt
players will only be charged the $200 Championship fee.
There will be no
registration the day before the Championship.
If we have received your payment for your championship fees by Thursday, April 7th you have
registered for the Championship.
3. GROUPINGS: Initial groupings will be
for two-days; the field will be re-paired after the second round. The third round will be two shotguns starts,
the first at 8:00 AM and the second at 12:45 PM. The 1st
& 2nd Flights of the Regular Division and the 1st
Flight of the Super Senior Division will play in the morning shotgun. The Championship Flight of the Regular
Division and the Super Senior Division will play in the afternoon shotgun.
4. PRATICE
ROUND: Players may start calling for
their practice round tee times on Tuesday,
March 22. Practice rounds are
available one week prior to the Championship. Practice rounds are restricted to
after 12:00 PM on Saturday & Sunday.
On Monday, practice rounds will begin at 9:00 AM. The cost of the
practice round is $30.00 plus tax. Starting times for your practice round can
be arranged by calling the club at (352)
671-3933. Alternates are not allowed
practice rounds. The place to practice
your golf swing is on the driving range.
Hitting multiple balls on the golf course is unacceptable.

Arrangements have been made at the Fairfield Inn for $79 per night and Courtyard
Marriott for $89 per night. Please

participant.
Additional arrangements have
been made at the Hilton-Ocala for $89
per night. Call (352) 854-1400 for
reservations and identify yourself as an FSGA participant.
7. REGISTRATION
TABLE: There will be a registration
table outside the pro shop prior to the first round. All contestants are
requested to check in. You will receive a tee favor
and tournament information at the registration table.
8. ADDITIONAL
SERVICES: A limited amount of bag storage and lockers will be available for competitors
on a first come first serve basis. Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club will
not be responsible for any lost items. A continental breakfast and lunch will
be available each day at the Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club.
9. DRIVING
RANGE: Range
balls will be provided prior to your round on the days of the competition.
10. PAYMENT: Golden
Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club accepts
VISA/MASTERCARD & AMERICAN EXPRESS ONLY as payment for all
meals and other services. Cash will be
able to be used on the Beverage cart ONLY.
