Amelia National GC (16-18)

Players and Parents,

Amelia National Golf Club was set up today for this weekend's tournament. The course is in very good condition, a little brown due to some recent cold weather. The putting greens are in great condition and will be rolling pretty quickly this weekend.

Please read over the following reminders for this weekend's event.

• Avoid a speeding ticket - Watch your speed when arriving on Amelia Concourse. The speed limit is only 35 mph and cops tend to hand out on that road.
• Range finders are allowed during the tournament (the Local Rule allowing them is in effect)
• Approximate yardages and updated tee times are posted on the website - click here
• Player registration will open at 9:45 AM on Saturday in front of the clubhouse. Please register when you arrive on property.
• Penalties - Over the years, many players have earned pace of play penalties when playing at Amelia National. The main reason for all these penalties was walking slowly between holes and during the play of holes.
  Amelia National is a big course and has many long walks. Walk quickly and pay close attention to your position with the group ahead and your max time which is on your scorecard (it is ok to check your time on a cell phone!).
• Players may ride in any cart in the following locations:  #9 to #10, #12 to #13, #16 to #17 and #18 to #1. Spectators may rent a cart each day.
