Osprey Ridge/Eagle Pines Courses

1. FORMAT: Regular division will play 36 holes of modified alternate shot.
2. FLIGHTS:
Regular Division The field will
be divided between the two courses based on combined handicaps of the
team. After 18 holes the field will be
flighted (within course divisions). Initial pairings are subject to change. The
overall Champion can come from either course.
3. COURSES: The
Regular division will play on Eagle Pines/Osprey Ridge Courses. (All players
will play both courses).
A one day - one park Complimentary Ticket from Disney will be available
to each competitor. Ticket is valid until August 2, 2004 only. You may pick
your ticket up at the Osprey Ridge/Eagle Pines Pro-shop on Friday from 9 AM to
closing.
4. DIVISIONS: There
will not be any gender-based divisions, but four sets of tees will be utilized:

Men
(15-54) will play Black Tees - approximately 6700 yards
·
Junior
Boys (13-15) and Senior Men (55 and older) will play the Silver Tees - approximately 6300 yards
·
Women (15-54) will play the Gold Tees - approximately 5400 yards
·
Junior
Girls (13-15), and Senior Women (55 and older) will play the Red Tees - approximately 5000 yards
5. ACCOMMODATIONS: Arrangements
have been made at The Hampton Inn (407-396-8484) for $59.00 per night; The Homewood
Suites (407-396-2229) for $79.99 per night; or the Sheraton Safari Hotel
(407-239-0444) for $89.00 per night. Identify yourself as a for FSGA competitor
for reservations.
6. REGISTRATION: There
will be a registration table for the regular division set-up outside the front
door to the clubhouse.
7. SPECIAL
ANNOUNCEMENT:

Eagle
Pines/Osprey Ridge Courses - THE
DRIVING RANGE WILL CLOSE AT 7:40 AM, carts will depart for assigned holes at 7:50
AM with play to begin at 8:00 AM.
8. PRACTICE
ROUNDS: Practice times on the Osprey Ridge/Eagle Pines Courses are available any day from July 27 - July 30,
AFTER 10:00 AM. Cost is $45 per person. Before
9. MODIFIED ALTERNATE SHOT: Modified alternate shot is commonly known as a Pinehurst Format. Which means each partner plays from the teeing ground and each plays his partner's ball for the second shot. After the second shot, partners select the ball with which they wish to score, and play that ball alternately to complete the hole. During the play of a hole partners may not switch their ball for the one they are to play.
10. ALL PLAYER MUST BE PREPARED TO HAVE CARTS REMAIN ON PATHS: All competitors must be prepared for cart paths only if the wet weather conditions continue.
