TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

1.      FORMAT: All players traveling to Indian River Golf Club are guaranteed an 18 hole-seeding round and at least one round of match play.  After the 18 hole seeding round, the field of 96 will be broken into a Championship flight of 32 players and four additional flights of 16. Ultimately there will be a Match Play Champion from the Championship Flight and four additional flights champions.

2.      WHITHDRAWALS:  Anyone “No Showing” for a match will be required to submit a $150.00 donation to the FSGA Junior Fund prior to being allowed entry into any future FSGA events. 

3.      GOLF CARTS: Carts are included for all competitive rounds.  Players are responsible for practice round cart fees.

4.        ACCOMMODATIONS: Arrangements have been made at the Palm Court Resort Hotel for $89.00 per night.  Call (772) 231-2800.  Also, at The Vero Beach Hotel & Club for $119.00 per night.  Please identify yourself as a FSGA competitor at each hotel.   The deadline for reservations is July 1.  Players reserving a room after the deadline must call Chris Hughes to receive the rate above.

5.      REGISTRATION: A registration table will be set up outside the pro shop prior to the seeding round.  All contestants are requested to check in. 

6.      PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice times are available one week prior to the championship space available; Saturday and Sunday after 1:00 pm.    The price of your practice round is $25.00 plus tax including range balls.  Call (772) 569-5066 to arrange your times. Remember, you are a guest at Indian River Golf Club and gentlemanly behavior and proper dress is expected at all times.  The proper place to practice your swing is on the driving range, hitting multiple shots on the course is unacceptable.

7.      CLUBHOUSE:  The grillroom and golf shop will accept cash, Master Card and Visa.

FROM THE SOUTH

I-95
Follow I-95 north to Ft. Pierce, take exit 131B for Orange Avenue (west).
Follow the exit ramp onto Orange Avenue.
Turn right (north) at the first light onto Kings Highway (Route 713).
Follow Route 713 north for about 9 miles until it ends at the intersection of U.S. Highway 1.
Turn left (north) onto U.S. Highway 1.
Continue approximately one mile to the traffic light at Highland Drive.
Turn left (west) onto Highland Drive. Sales Center gate is on the left, Clubhouse gate is on the right.

FLORIDA TURNPIKE
Take the turnpike north to exit 152, Fort Pierce.
From the toll gate travel straight at the traffic light onto Route 713, Kings Highway.
Follow Route 713 north for 10 miles until it ends at the intersection of U.S. Highway 1.
Turn left (north) on U.S. Highway 1.
Continue approximately one mile to the traffic light on Highland Drive.
Turn left (west) onto Highland Drive. Sales Center gate is on the left, Clubhouse gate is on the right.

FROM THE NORTH

INTERSTATE 95
From I-95, take exit 147 (Vero Beach exit) east on State Road 60.
Turn right (south) on U.S. Highway 1.
Continue approximately 6.5 miles to the light at Highland Drive.
Sales Center gate is on the left, Clubhouse gate is on the right.

FLORIDA TURNPIKE
Take the Yeehaw Junction exit (State Road 60) east to U.S. Hwy 1 in Vero Beach.
Turn right (south) on U.S. Highway 1.
Continue approximately 6.5 miles to the light at Highland Drive.
Sales Center gate is on the left, Clubhouse gate is on the right.

FROM THE ORLANDO INT'L AIRPORT
Take 528 (Beeline Highway) east to I-95 South.
From I-95, take exit 147 (Vero Beach exit) east on State Road 60.
Turn right (south) on U.S. Highway 1.
Continue approximately 6.5 miles to the light at Highland Drive.
Sales Center gate is on the left, Clubhouse gate is on the right.

FROM THE WEST

FROM TAMPA/ST. PETERSBURG

East on State Road 60 to U.S. Highway 1 in Vero Beach.
Turn right (south) on U.S. Highway 1.
Continue approximately 6.5 miles to the light at Highland Drive.
Sales Center gate is on the left, Clubhouse gate is on the right.
