Message to Orange County National Players:

Course Notes

The Panther Lake course was setup today. Approximate yardages and the hole locations for each round were selected. The course is in great condition and the greens will be nearly perfect for the tournament. Yardages may be changed drastically between rounds based on weather conditions and scores. Ignore the signs that state "Naturalized Area, Please Do Not Enter." You may play from those areas if you can find your ball.

Pace of Play & Tips

• There are several long walks between holes, but time will be added into the allotted time. Walk fast between holes to keep up!
• Riding in a shuttle or spectator cart between a few holes may be allowed. Each specific location will be listed on the Notice to Players (your hole location sheet). Never ride in a cart unless it is specifically allowed on the Notice to Players (local rules)
• No warnings will be given. It is each groups' responsibility to make the checkpoint. Read and understand the policy - click here
• Pay attention to your time and position on the course. Carry a watch or phone and check your time periodically.
• Walk fast, be ready to play, get your yardage as you walk towards your ball, and walk ahead off to the site as others are playing

Shortcuts:

• After finishing #1, walk over the hill and on dirt path to 2 fairway; drop your bag and walk back to the tee
• After finishing #10, cut across #2 tee and down the dirt walking path to #11 tee (much shorter than following the cart path)

Food & Beverage

• Bottle water will be on the starting tees
• A snack stand will be located near the 1st and 10th tees. Lunch items, snacks and beverages will be available so there is no need to go back to the clubhouse.
• A breakfast buffet will be available at the club for approximately $10 on Sunday and Monday
• A beverage cart is scheduled to be on the course also.
• All food and beverages should be purchased from the club (not brought in)

Player Registration

Player registration will open Saturday morning shortly after 10:00 AM. Each player is expected to register. Each player will receive a FJT logo Nike golf shirt and a dozen FJT logo Nike golf balls (courtsey of Nike Golf). Best of luck!
