U.S. Senior Amateur Championship

Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club

1. PAIRINGS AND TEE TIMES: The pairings and tee times for the qualifying round at Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club in Ocala, FL on Monday, June 30, 2025 will be posted at www.fsga.org on or around Friday, June 20, 2025

2. PRACTICE ROUND INFORMATION: To arrange your practice round, call (352) 671-3933. On a space available basis, practice rounds are available one week prior to the competition, Saturday and Sunday after 12:00 PM. The cost of the practice round is $40 plus tax. All players playing a practice round must reserve a tee time.

The host club may restrict practice rounds to one per player. Additionally, the club may restrict access to the practice areas to approximately one hour before and after the practice round. The proper place to practice your swing is on the driving range, hitting multiple shots on the course is unacceptable.

3. DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES: In Qualifying and in the Championship proper, a player may obtain distance information by use of a distance-measuring device. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., elevation changes, wind speed, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3a.

4. NEW GROOVE REGULATIONS: In Qualifying and in the Championship proper, the player’s clubs must conform to the groove specifications in the Rules of Golf that are effective from January 1, 2010. Note: Ping EYE2 clubs manufactured prior to March 31, 1990, may not be used during qualifying or the Championship proper unless they have been tested and found to conform with the current groove specifications. The condition of competition is available for review on the entry application.

The USGA and R&A have created a reference resource called the Informational Club Database to assist golfers in determining whether their irons, hybrids and fairway woods comply with the New Groove Rules. For information about and to access the database, please use the following link: http://www.usga.org/InfoClubsDB/intro.html

The USGA strongly suggests that all players verify the conformance of their clubs well in advance of their scheduled qualifying competition. It is the player’s responsibility, not the USGA’s responsibility to ensure that his clubs conform. Waiting until the day of the competition is the fault of the player. The Committee is under no obligation to test the club. The competitor may play. However, if it is later determined that the club is non-conforming, including after the competition has closed, the player will be disqualified.

5. TRANSPORTATION: As indicated in the entry, players or their caddie may ride at anytime during the qualifying round per the “one-seat” policy. You must make your own arrangements if you want a caddie. A cart may be rented at a cost of $30 plus tax.

6. SPECTATORS: Spectators are welcome to attend, but they must walk at all times. Only players or their caddie are authorized to ride. Spectators are expected to remain a reasonable distance from the players and not on the fairways or putting greens.

7. PULL CARTS: Permitted

8. METHOD OF PAYMENT: Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club will accept All Major Credit Cards (No Cash) for method of payment.

9. CONDUCT AND DRESS CODE: Players, caddies and spectators are guests at Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club and proper behavior and attire is expected at all times.

10. ALTERNATE PROCEDURE: If a spot at the qualifying site becomes available due to a withdrawal, players on the waitlist will be automatically assigned to that site up until three days prior to the qualifier. Once it is within three days (72 hours) of the qualifier, there will not be any replacements of withdrawn players.

11. WITHDRAWAL FROM QUALIFYING: Players can withdraw by logging into their USGA account and clicking on the “Withdraw” tab or by contacting the USGA at 908-326-1950. Transferring qualifying sites is not permissible after entries close.

12. QUALIFYING SPOTS: At this time, the number of qualifying spots has not been determined by the USGA. This information will be posted at the qualifier.

13. FOOTWEAR: Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club prohibits the use of traditional metal spikes.

14. GHIN SCORE POSTING: The FSGA will automatically post qualifying rounds.
