Round One Suspended, Play to Resume Wednesday.

Event Shortened to 36 holes.

Due to heavy rains and thunderstorms, the first round of the 37^th Florida State Senior Championship was suspended at 1:40 PM.   Play will resume tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10:30 AM.  Players on the course will resume from their position at the suspension of play. 

Approximately 12 groups have not yet started the first round and these groups will begin teeing off in the originally assigned order at 10:30 AM.

Players, who completed round one on Tuesday, will not play a round on Wednesday.  All players will return for the second and final round on Thursday.

On Thursday there will be two shotguns beginning at 8:00 AM with an afternoon shotgun starting at 12:45 PM.  The field will be flighted after round one, all players remain eligible for the Championship regardless of their flight. 

Thursday’s times - Players should contact the club or see the website http://www.fsga.org/ on Wednesday after 4:30 PM to determine whether they will be playing in the morning or afternoon shotgun.
