TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

1. FORMAT: 54 holes of individual stroke play. Competition will consist of the Championship field and the Super Senior field. The Championship field will be divided into flights after the second round.

IF A SUPER SENIOR HAS ELECTED TO COMPETE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD AND PLAYS FROM THE GOLD TEE MARKERS, HE IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE SUPER SENIOR DIVISION.

2. GROUPINGS: Initial groupings will be for two-days; the field will be re-paired after the second round.  The third round will be two shotguns starts, the first at 8:00 AM and the second at 12:45 PM. The higher flights and the Super Seniors will play in the morning shotgun.  The lower flights will play in the afternoon shotgun.

3. DIRECTIONS TO ROYAL PALM YACHT & COUNTRY CLUB: 

From I-95:  Take Exit #42A (Hillsboro Road Exit) and head EAST to Federal Highway/US 1 Go NORTH on Federal Highway/US 1 approximately one mile to Royal Palm Way, East / SW 18^th Street.  Veer right onto Royal Palm Way, East and pass through the guard gate.  The Clubhouse will be on the left side at 199 Royal Palm Way.

From the Florida Turnpike:  Take the Turnpike to the Glades Road Exit.  From the exit, head EAST on Glades Road approximately five miles to Federal Highway/US 1.  Go SOUTH on Federal Highway/US 1 approximately two miles to Royal Palm Way, East / SW 18^th Street.  You will have to go through this intersection and do a “boulevard turn” to get to Royal Palm Way, East.  Veer right onto Royal Palm Way, East and pass through the guard gate.  The Clubhouse will be on the left side at 199 Royal Palm Way

4. ACCOMMODATIONS: Arrangements have been made at the Hilton Deerfield Beach/Boca Raton. The cost is $99.00 per night.  Call (954) 427-7700 for reservations.  Please identify yourself as an FSGA competitor at each site for reservations.

5. REGISTRATION TABLE: There will be a registration table outside the pro shop prior to the first round. All contestants are requested to check in. You will receive tee favor and tournament information at the registration table.

6. PRATICE ROUND: Practice rounds are available on Monday, April 12^th ONLY; please contact the golf shop after March 31^st to arrange a practice round.  The club will run a double wave on Monday.  Tee times in the morning will be from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM off both the 1^st and 10^th tees and the afternoon wave will be from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM off both the 1^st and 10^th tees.  The cost of the practice round is $25.00 tax including range balls.  Please call (561) 395-2202 to reserve a time for your practice round.  The place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range.  Hitting multiple balls on the golf course is unacceptable.

7. ADDITIONAL SERVICES: A limited amount of bag storage and lockers will be available for competitors on a first come first serve basis. Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club will not be responsible for any lost items. A continental breakfast and lunch will be available each day at the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club.    

8. DRIVING RANGE: Range balls will be provided prior to your round on the days of the competition.

9. PAYMENT:  Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club accepts cash or check ONLY as payment for all meals and other services.
