A message from the Tournament Director...

Gainesville Country Club was set up today for this weekend's FJT event. After setting the course up, I thought a quick reminder email might help players avoid penalties this weekend.

Pace of Play
Gainesville CC is an easy walking course and our pace should be pretty good, however the greens are very fast and it could slow things down a bit. The pace of play is set at a maximum time of 4 hours and 43 minutes. Timing checkpoints are at holes #9 and #18.

Each group must finish #9 and #18 to avoid a penalty:
 - Under the allotted time, OR,
 - Within 15 minutes of the group ahead.

Suggestions
 - Be ready for very fast and firm greens
 - Be prepared to play when it is your turn
 - If needed, your group may consider playing "ready golf"
 - Watch your time and the group ahead
