1. FORMAT: Juniors will play 9 holes of modified alternate shot using stableford scoring each day.
2. COURSES: The Junior division will play the Oak Trail
executive course. Flights will consist of 6-9 and 10-11year olds.
3. ACCOMMODATIONS: Arrangements have been
made at The Radisson Resort Parkway for $79.00 per night. The deadline for reservations is July 24th. Call (800) 634-4774
and identify yourself as a FSGA competitor for reservations. Additional accommodations are
available the Hampton Inn for $59.00 or the Homewood Suites for $79 per night.

4. REGISTRATION: Registration table will be
a set-up by the scoreboard located by Palm/Magnolia putting green.

available any day from July 29-August 1, AFTER
7. MODIFIED ALTERNATE SHOT WITH STABLEFORD SCORING: Modified alternate shot is mostly known as a
Pinehurst Format. Which simply means
that each player will hit a tee shot off of every hole? You then will switch drives and play and each
person will hit a second shot on every hole.
After each person plays their second shot the team will select the best
shot and then alternate playing that ball into the hole.

Stableford scoring system:

Double Bogey - 1 point

Bogey - 2 points

Par - 3 points
o
Birdie - 4 points
o
Eagle - 5 points
o
Double Eagle - 6 points
8. BE PREPARED TO
WALK: All competitors must be prepared to walk if there are
wet conditions.
