39th Mid-Amateur Championship

Congratulations on earning your way to the 39th Florida Mid-Amateur Championship at Mayacoo Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach. Please carefully read the information below.

Carts

Due to recent changes to the state's and county's regulations, players will be using golf carts at the championship. Our friends at Bradenton Country Club loaned us 20 cart dividers that will be installed on Thursday. Players that indicated they are comfortable sharing a cart will be issued a cart with a divider between the two seats. Players that indicated they were not comfortable sharing a cart with another player should all be assigned a single cart. If at anytime a player is not comfortable with sharing a cart they have the option to walk.

Drinking Water

The water stations have been removed from the course (only available at the club house). Please come prepared with your own drinking water. Small personal coolers are acceptable

Food & Beverage

The Turn Stand near the 10th tee opens at 7:30 AM each morning. Snacks, drinks and breakfast sandwiches should be available. 

The Dining Room is open 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM for lunch and beverages.

Pairings

Pairings are posted for round one here. The groupings will remain the same for round; however, the tee times will be different. The field will be cut to the low 60 & ties after 36 holes.

Golf Course

• Bunker rakes will be on the course and available to use at the option of the player.
• Free relief is NOT available for disturbed areas in bunkers.
• Flagsticks may be touched and removed at the option of the player.

Reminders

• Masks are required in the clubhouse and when social distancing cannot be maintained outside.
• Scorecards are not to be exchanged. After the round players must first return their golf cart and then proceed to the scoring area.
• Anyone that has recently been exposed to someone positive with COVID-19, or are showing any symptoms of illness MUST withdraw by contacting the FSGA office. A full refund will be granted. Please keep your fellow golfers, the club's staff, and our volunteers safe!  

Practice Rounds

Practice rounds are available one week prior to the Championship and after 12:00 PM the weekend prior on a space available basis.  The cost of your first practice round is $33 plus tax. Please call (561) 793-1700 to arrange your practice round. Accepted forms of payment in the Golf Shop are American Express, Visa, and MasterCard.
