Gentlemen,
Thank you for registering for the FSGA Super-Senior Championship. We are excited to be at Bradenton Country Club in less than two weeks. The club has hosted both our Girl's Junior Championship & Florida Women's Open this summer and is in fantastic conditions. If you have not visited Bradenton before, or since their 2016 restoration, you will be impressed. Below is some important information for the event.
COVID-19 Policies & Reminders:
Anyone who has COVID-19 or has been recently exposed to someone with COVID-19 must withdraw and we will issue a full refund.
Masks are required in the clubhouse at Bradenton CC
Flagsticks - must stay in the hole and should not be touched - PVC pipe will be in the bottom off the cup to prevent ball from falling down
Bunkers - New FSGA Policy / Local Rule Effective 9/1/20
DISTURBED AREAS IN BUNKERS: When rakes have been removed from the course, players are entitled to relief under Rule 16.1c from disturbed areas in bunkers for lie of ball and area of intended swing only. Disturbed areas are footprints, depressions and other non-smooth areas caused by other players. In taking relief under Rule 16.1c a ball must be dropped in the bunker within one club-length of the nearest point of complete relief not nearer the hole. For a one-stroke penalty, a ball may be dropped outside the bunker using the Back-On-The-Line Relief option.
Carts:
Bradenton Country Club has a fleet of 52 golf carts that all have dividers installed as pictured on the Entry Form.
Championship Division - We will play in foursomes and all competitors will be asked to share a cart with a divider as advised on the entry form.
70-74 Age Division - We will play in foursomes and all competitors will be asked to share a cart with a divider as advised on the entry form.
75 & Over Age Divisions - We will play in threesomes and players will have single carts.
Shared Cart Preference - if there is someone in your division that you are traveling with or come from the same club, area, etc., and you wish to ride together for Round 1, please let us know and we will accommodate.
Walking Option - Players may opt to walk, and push carts are permitted. Caddies are not permitted. Bradenton Country Club is very walkable, but you will be asked to keep up with fellow competitors who are riding. We may still experience some warm October weather.
Approximate Yardages - click here for approximate yardages by Division.
