Memorandum to Contestants

On behalf of the FSGA, congratulations on competing in the Florida Women's Open & Senior Open. We hope that you enjoy your experience in competing at a State Championship and take many favorable memories from your time at Bradenton Country Club and Lakewood National Golf Club.
Please take time to carefully read through this information. There are several important pieces of information contained here, some of which require action by you, by a certain time (e.g. hotel reservations, and practice rounds, etc.). Special Rules and Code of Conduct
- Masks - Each player must have a mask or face covering to where while in and around the clubhouse and turn stands
- Waivers - Each player must complete a liability waiver that will be sent approximately 5 days prior to the championship.
- Arrival - You must not arrive to the host club more than one hour prior to your tee time.
- Carts
- Bradenton Country Club - Carts will be staged in front of the clubhouse.
- Lakewood National Golf Club - Carts will be staged in the staging area and near the driving range.
- Players must ride in their own carts and no one else may ride with them. Exceptions are made for players under 16 years of age.
- Caddies are NOT permitted
- Spectators - Two maximum per player and the spectators must be a related family member or a significant other.
- On Course
- Bunkers - Each player will be given their own sanitized rake to use each day
- Flagsticks must remain in the hole and not be touched. Removing flagsticks is a breach of the Code of Conduct. The first breach is a warning, a second breach is a general penalty, and third breach is disqualification.
- Holes - PVC will be placed at the bottom of the hole. Balls must remain in the hole for the balled to be holed.
- Scorecards will not be exchanged. Your score will be kept by another player and verbally confirmed at the scoring area while social distancing.
- Scoreboard - There will be no formal scoreboard. Please follow fsga.org for scoring.
- Awards Presentation - Weather permitting, the sanitized trophy and low amateur plaque will be presented after all scores have been verified and accepted. At that point, the competition is closed.
- Gift Certificates - All amateurs making the cut will receive pro shop credit at Bradenton Country Club. To limit touch points, the club will keep a list of players on file and the amount they receive. Players should redeem all credit before leaving property on Sunday.

Tee times will be posted on the FSGA website on Monday, August 3rd.
- Friday, August 7th - Bradenton Country Club & Lakewood National (Commander Course)
- Saturday, August 8th - Bradenton Country Club & Lakewood National (Commander Course)
- Sunday, August 9th - Bradenton Country Club
Practice Rounds
All players will play 18 holes at Bradenton Country Club and Lakewood National Golf Club on Friday and Saturday. Bradenton Country Club is the main host site and will be played for Sunday's final round.
- Bradenton Country Club will be open to practice rounds one week prior to the Championship, and after 12:00 PM the weekend prior on a space available basis. Players cannot book practice rounds until 3 days prior to the day they wish to play.
- Lakewood National Golf Club (Commander Course) will be open to practice rounds one week prior to the Championship, and after 12:00 PM the weekend prior on a space available basis. Players cannot book practice rounds until one week prior to the day they wish to play.
All players must take a cart and the cost of the practice round, including range balls and cart, is $35 plus tax. The club reserves the right to pair singles together.

Practice Facilities
- Players may arrive one hour prior to your tee time.
- Open each morning at approximately 6:30 AM.
- Bradenton Country Club - The driving range will be closed following play, however players may practice putting and chipping.
- Lakewood National Golf Club - All practice facilities will be open following play.
Attire
Proper attire for competitors and caddies is required at all times at the golf facility. Failure to comply may result in withdrawal of entry. The dress code prohibits tank tops, T-shirts, denim shorts, jeans, and short shorts. Shorts must be no higher than approximately five inches above the knee (as a measuring rule, shorts must come below the finger tips when arms are held to the side). All hats must be worn properly. Collared shirts or shirts specifically designed for golf must be worn and tucked in at all times. This code supplements any course or club guidelines, which shall take precedence.

Carts & Caddies
All players must ride during Championship rounds. Only players are allowed to ride in carts. Caddies are not permitted due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Host Site Policies & Dress Code
The membership and management would like all of you to enjoy your experience during the Championship.
- Gentlemen are required to wear collared shirts tucked in and hats worn properly while on the golf course.
- No denim.
- Players are encouraged to use the services of the clubhouse and grill room for food and beverage.
Food & Beverage
Lunch is available for purchase during days of competition.
- Bradenton Country Club - The turn stand will open at 7:30 AM, and the restaurant will be open starting at 11:00 AM.
- Lakewood National Golf Club - The turn stand will be open at 7:00 AM and the Tiki Bar will be open starting at 11:00 AM.
Players are not allowed to bring outside product on property. Please support the club and purchase your food and beverage at the club.
Payment at Clubs
Visa and MasterCard are accepted for F&B and Golf Shop purchases. Cash is not accepted.
