71st Four-Ball Championship
This document contains special Rules and Code of Conduct in place for Four-Ball Qualifiers. The following information is in addition the FSGA's Hard Card, Pace of Play Policy, Code of Conduct and the Notice to Players (Local Rules) that you will receive onsite or via email.
Special Rules and Code of Conduct
- Waivers - Each player must sign a waiver before arriving at the qualifier. A separate email will be sent with a link to sign the document online.
- Bunkers - Rakes will not be on the course. Balls will be played as they lie in the bunkers. Players must smooth sand with their feet or club as they leave a bunker.
- Holes - PVC or foam will be placed in the holes. Balls must remain in the hole for the ball to be holed.
- Flagsticks must remain in the hole and not be touched. Removing the flagstick is a breach of the Code of Conduct and the first breach is a warning, second breach is a general penalty, and third breach is disqualification.
- Arrival - You must not arrive to the host club more than one hour prior to your tee time.
- Caddies - please view the Player Information for your qualifying site regarding caddies
- Spectators at Qualifiers - Maximum of two per player. Spectators will walk. It is very unlikely the host club will have any carts available to spectators.
- Scorecards will not be exchanged. Your score will be kept by another player and verbally confirmed at the scoring area while social distancing.
- Playoffs & Alternates - There will no playoffs. The number of qualifier spots and ties will qualify. Players not qualifying by one shot will randomly be assigned alternate status.
- Food & Beverage - Bottled water is NOT bring provided. Many clubs have little or no options for food and beverage. Please refer to the email from the Tournament Chairman in advance. All qualifying sites are allowing players to bring small coolers with non-alcoholic beverages.
- Scoreboard - Scoreboards will not be used. Links to online scoring will be sent via email and text.
