West Bay GC (16-18) - Message to Players and Parents

FJT - West Bay Players and Parents:

Be Prepared - West Bay Golf Club is not a good walking course. There are many lengthy walks between holes, ranging from 100 yards to 800 yards. The FJT will provide shuttles, and allow spectators to shuttle players, where the walk is more than 300 yards (between holes: 9-10, 10-11, 12-13, 13-14, & Range-10).

Players must walk the rest of the course. As always, the pace of play "allotted time" will be adjusted to accommodate the lengthy walks. The USGA recommends that it takes no more than one minute to walk 100 yards.

Parents: 
The FJT Tournament Staff is looking for several parents to volunteer and help run shuttle carts on Saturday and Sunday. Each shuttle will need to have a volunteer present for approximately 4 1/2 hours.

Each volunteer will receive a free cart, lunch, snacks and beverages during each day they volunteer. Please contact Darin Green, dgreen@fsga.org or 813-632-3742, if you are interested in helping.
