TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
- FORMAT: 36 holes of four-ball stroke play. There will be
two divisions; Senior Age Division (55-64) and Super-Senior Age Division
(65 and over). We will re-pair and the divisions will be flighted after
the first round based upon scores and the number of teams in each
division.
- COURSE
SET- UP: The
golf course will be set-up approximately
6500 - 6600 yards for the Senior division and approximately 6100 6200 yards for
the Super-Senior division.
- ACCOMMODATIONS: Click
on the link below, then on the hotel icon, for a list of hotels near North Palm Beach. The FSGA does not have a host
hotel.
- REGISTRATION
TABLE:
There will be a registration table set up in front of the golf shop. All
contestants are requested to check in.
- GPS AND RANGE FINDERS ALLOWED: In this competition, a player may obtain
distance information by using a device that measures distance ONLY.
However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring
device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might
affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the
player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is
disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are
actually used.
- PRATICE
ROUND: Practice
rounds are available one week prior to the championship. Practice rounds may be played after
12:00 PM on the weekend. Tee times
on Monday, October 6th will begin at 10:00 AM. The price for your practice round is $30.00
tax. Please call (561) 626-1400 to arrange your
practice round. The
proper place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range, hitting
multiple shots on the course is unacceptable.
- PAYMENT: Lost Tree Club will accept CASH
ONLY for method of payment.
- DIRECTIONS TO LOST TREE CLUB:
Take I-95 From
the south exit 79A (P.G.A. BLVD)
From the north exit 79B (P.G.A.
BLVD)
Exit east, (towards the ocean), approximately three miles. Cross US1,
(federal highway) proceed one mile to the first traffic light. Make a
left at entrance gate to Lost Tree Club. Security will give you further
directions to your desired destination.
