Coaches & Advice
Each
Junior Program is authorized ONE Coach
per team. Each Coach must register
at the registration table to receive their coachs badge.
Only
the Team Coach is allowed to give advice to members of his/her team ONLY between the last green played and next
teeing ground and does not delay play. The penalty for violation of this
local rule is two shots to the player.
Coaches & Spectator Carts
On the competition days each Junior Program will be provided
ONE cart free of charge at each course (only one free cart per junior
program at each course). Additional carts may be rented for $15 plus tax per
day.
Spectators may rent a cart for $15 plus tax per day.
These carts will be used to assist in evacuation of
players if required. If play is
suspended, signaled by a long air horn blast, please transport players to the
clubhouse.
Cooler Policy
Personal coolers are not permitted at any
time during this event. It is the policy
of Walt Disney World Resort to not allow personal coolers on their
premises. If you bring a personal cooler onto the
course you will be asked to remove the cooler. Food and beverages can be purchased at each
course. Water coolers will be on every
few holes and there will also be a beverage cart on each course during the
event. Walt Disney World and the FSGA
thank you for your cooperation.
Practice Rounds
Practice rounds will be on August 8th after 9:00 AM on both courses.
Practice rounds at any other day or time are at the prevailing rate. Each team
will be allowed one practice round tee time
and any players from that team wishing to play a practice round must play
at that scheduled time. Parents and coaches are not allowed to play. Cost is
$20 plus tax per person and all junior players MUST
walk. To schedule
your practice round call Michael Steigerwalt at (407) 938-3873.
Pace of Play
Coaches, We need
your help!!!!
Pace of play is
very important, please keep your players walking with a purpose and
ready to play when it is their turn. Then 40 seconds to play each shot. The
FSGA Pace of Play policy is posted on the website.
All Rules questions
should be directed to a Tournament Official.
This includes the
need for a rules official or reporting a dangerous situation.
For a ruling: First
a player should play a second ball in accordance with Rule 3-3 and report the
incident to the Committee, unless the situation dictates the need for rules
official to be present.
Pairings
Round two pairings will be paired by team score with
low scores going off last. Pairings will be posted at the scoreboards and
website (www.fsga.org).
Weather
We
must be flexible on pending weather issues. We will make EVERY effort to play
36 holes. One long horn blast will suspend play. Use all available carts to evacuated
players to the clubhouse.
Team Pictures
Team pictures
will be taken before the first round near the putting green on
each course. Coaches, please gather all three players together before
their tee time for the team photo.
Photos will be
handed out after round 2.
Thank
you for your cooperation.
