Senior/Mid-Am Four-Ball Championship
The Golf Club at Fiddlers Creek
Naples, Florida
April 26 & 27, 2008
- FORMAT:
36 holes of four-ball stroke play. The field will be re-paired after
the first round. Teams consist of one player at least 55 years of
age, and the other player must be 25-54 years of age as of April 26, 2008.
- TEE
TIMES: Round one tee times will begin at 12:00 PM off the 1st
and 10th tees. Round two will be an 8:00 AM shotgun.
- PRACTICE
ROUND: Practice rounds are available one week prior to the event. Practice rounds are restricted to after
12:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
The cost of the practice round is $30.00 plus tax. Please call (239) 732-3030 to
reserve a time for your practice round. The place to practice
your golf swing is on the driving range.
Hitting multiple balls on the golf course is unacceptable.
- COURSE
SET-UP: The golf course will be set-up approximately 6700-6800
yards for the Mid-Amateurs and 6300-6500 yards for the Senior
Amateurs.
- DIRECTIONS TO THE GOLF CLUB AT FIDDLERS CREEK: Directions
from Tampa/St. Petersburg: Take I-75 South towards Naples. Merge onto Collier Blvd./CR 951 South via exit 101. Turn right towards Marco Island. Fiddlers Creek is 9 miles south on your
way to Marco
Island. You will turn left into Fiddlers Creek
main entrance. Stop at the guard
gate and tell them you are going to The Golf Club at Fiddlers Creek and
they will direct you from there.

from Miami/Fort Lauderdale: Take
I-75 North toward Naples.
Take Collier Blvd./CR 951 South via exit 101
towards Marco Island.
Turn left onto Collier Blvd./CR 951 towards Marco Island. Fiddlers Creek is 9.3 miles south on your
way to Marco Island.
You will turn left into Fiddlers Creeks main entrance. Stop at the
guard gate and tell them you are going to The Golf Club at Fiddlers Creek and
they will direct you from there.

- GPS AND RANGE FINDERS ALLOWED: In this competition, a player may obtain
distance information by using a device that measures distance ONLY.
However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring
device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might
affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the
player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification,
regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually
used. The club is set up to
