TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

FORMAT:                 54 holes of stroke play. Everyone will compete in the Gross and Net Divisions

1.      Day 1, AM round: scramble                                          SOUTH COURSE     8:30 AM shotgun

2.      Day 1, PM round: alternate shot, (each player               DYE COURSE           2:00 PM shotgun

will tee off then select ball to be played into the

hole on an alternate shot basis) 

3.      Day 2, AM round: best-ball                                          SOUTH COURSE     8:30 AM shotgun

HANDICAPS:           

1.      Scramble: 35% of the lowest player’s handicap of the team & 15% of the highest player’s handicap

2.      Alternate shot: 60 % of the lowest player’s handicap & 40% of the highest player’s handicap

3.      Best-ball: 90% of the player’s handicaps

RECOMMENDATION: PRACTICE ROUND ON DYE COURSE IF YOU CAN ONLY PLAY ONE COURSE

COURSE SET- UP:  The golf course will be set up from 6550 – 6650 yards based on course conditions. Typically par 5’s will be on back tee box, par 4’s not over 440 yards and par 3’s not over 200 yards.

DIRECTIONS TO PGA GOLF CLUB:  From either North or South on I-95 take the 63C exit and proceed west to the entrance of PGA Golf Club and follow the signs to the course. Visit club directory at www.fsga.org to obtain a map.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Arrangements have been made at the Hampton Inn for $75.60 per night for a standard room or $84.60 for a suite. The deadline for reservations is May 11. Call (772) 878-5900 and identify yourself as a FSGA competitor for reservations.

REGISTRATION TABLE: There will be a registration table set up under the clock tower. All contestants are requested to check in. You will receive tee favor and tournament information at the registration table.

PRATICE ROUND: Practice rounds are available 9 days in advance of the play date. You may call the golf shop at 800-800-4653 to arrange your practice round. The price for your practice round is $30.00 tax (range balls not included).

PAYMENT: PGA National will accept cash or Visa/MasterCard .

$10.00 LUNCH SPECIAL WILL BE AVAILABLE BETWEEN SHOTGUNS ON SATURDAY – you may pay at registration
