TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

1.                  FORMAT: 54 holes of stroke play. Competition will consist of the Championship field and the Super Senior field. The Championship field will be divided into flights after the second round. IF A SUPER SENIOR HAS ELECTED TO COMPETE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD AND PLAYS FROM THE BLUE TEE MARKERS, HE IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE SUPER SENIOR DIVISION.

2.                  GROUPINGS: Initial groupings will be for two-days; the field will be re-paired after the second round.  The third round will be two shotguns starts, the first at 8:00 AM and the second at 12:45 PM. The higher flights and the Super Seniors will play in the morning shotgun.  The lower flights will play in the afternoon shotgun.

3.                  DIRECTIONS TO MARSH LANDING COUNTRY CLUB:  Visit fsga.org and go to club services, click on club directory, search Marsh Landing Country Club and click on map to the course.

4.                  ACCOMMODATIONS: Two arrangements have been made for the State Senior Championship. The first arrangement is at the Country Inn & Suites the cost is $89.00 per night for a double queen and $99.00 for a king suite.  Call (904) 280-1661 for reservations.  Additional arrangements have been made at the Hampton Inn at Ponte Vedra for $89.00 per night. Call (904) 280-9101.  Please identify yourself as an FSGA competitor at each site for reservations.

5.                  REGISTRATION TABLE: There will be a registration table outside the pro shop prior to the first round. All contestants are requested to check in. You will receive tee favor and tournament information at the registration table.

6.                  PRATICE ROUND: Practice rounds are available starting Wednesday April 9^th anytime and after 12:00 on April 12^th & 13^th on a space available basis; please contact the golf shop for availability.  The cost of the practice round is $25.00 tax including range balls.  You must call in advance to arrange a practice round. Please call (904) 285-6459 to reserve a time for your practice round.  The place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range.  Hitting multiple balls on the golf course is unacceptable.

7.                  HARD CARD & PACE OF PLAY:  The FSGA Hard Card and Pace of Play policy are enclosed with your pairings.  Please take some time and read over both documents. Please put the Hard Card & Pace of Play in your golf bag, as you will not receive one at the tournament unless you ask for one.  If you have any questions, please see a Tournament Official at the tournament site.

8.                  ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Bag storage and lockers will be available for competitors on a first come first serve basis. Marsh Landing Country Club will not be responsible for any lost items. A continental breakfast and lunch will be available each day at the Marsh Landing Country Club.  The club will not be open for dinner on Monday or Tuesday.

9.                  DRIVING RANGE: Range balls will be provided prior to your round on the days of the competition.

10.              PAYMENT: Marsh Landing Country Club accepts MasterCard, Visa, or Cash as payment for all meals and other services.
