TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

1. FORMAT: All players traveling to Country Club of Ocala are guaranteed an 18 hole-seeding round and at least one round of match play.  After the 18 hole seeding round, the field of 96 will be divided into a Championship flight of 32 players and four additional flights of 16. Ultimately there will be a Match Play Champion from the Championship Flight and four additional flight champions.

2. WHITHDRAWALS:  Anyone “No Showing” for a match will be required to submit a $150.00 donation to the FSGA Future of Golf Foundation prior to being allowed entry into any future FSGA events. 

3. GOLF CARTS: Carts are included for all competitive rounds.  Players are responsible for practice round cart fees.

4. SPECTATORS AND CADDIES:  All spectators and caddies MUST WALK.

5. ACCOMMODATIONS: Arrangements have been made at the Fairfield Inn and the Courtyard Marriott.  The rate at the Fairfield in is $79 per night and the rate at the Courtyard Marriott is $89 per night.  Please call (352) 861-8400 to make reservations at the Fairfield Inn and call (352) 237-8000 for the Courtyard Marriott.    

6. REGISTRATION: A registration table will be set up outside the pro shop prior to the seeding round.  All contestants are requested to check in. 

7. PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice times are available one week prior to the Championship.  Practice rounds on Saturday & Sunday are restricted to after 12:00 PM.    The price of your practice round is $30.00 plus tax including range balls.  Call (352) 237-6644 to arrange your times. Remember, you are a guest at Country Club of Ocala and gentlemanly behavior and proper dress is expected at all times.  The proper place to practice your swing is on the driving range. Hitting multiple shots on the course is unacceptable.

8.      FORMS OF PAYMENT:  Country Club of Ocala will accept cash, Master Card and Visa

9.      DIRECTIONS TO COUNTRY CLUB OF OCALA: From I -75 (going north) take Exit 341 turn right to second traffic light. Turn left on CR 475 (not CR 475A) and travel approximately 6 miles to four-way stop light. Turn right on SE 80^th street and travel approximately one mile to club on the left. 

      From I-75 (going south) take exit 350 and turn left on SR 200. Travel past the Paddock Mall to SW 27^th         Ave (CR 475A), turn right and travel approximately 3 miles to SW 66^th Street and turn left at that intersection. Travel about a mile to a three way stop turning left on SW 80^th Street continue until you reach the club on the left.

10.  EXEMPTIONS:  The following players are exempt into the Championship Flight:  Kelly Gosse, Jon Veneziano, Tommy Murray, Jeff Dennis, Lee Booker, and Brian Johnson.
