club at (386) 738-6000. Alternates are not allowed practice rounds. The
place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range. Hitting multiple balls on the golf course is
unacceptable.
Pace of Play
In order to accommodate 156
players, it is essential that the game be played at a brisk pace which may be
defined as four hours in groups of three during the Championship rounds. The pace of play will be monitored. If and when it should become necessary to
speak to individual players about slow play, we hope they will react with the
understanding that we do it in the best interest of the Championship and the
other players. The pace of play for the
Championship will be posted on the Notice to Competitors.
Revised FSGA Pace of Play Heres
a big change so read through this one! The change is that after we notify your group
that they are out of position, there will be no next step warning for a
player who subsequently has a bad time. Any players subsequent bad time will result
in a one shot penalty. The language you will hear from an official is Gentlemen,
your group is out of position and on the clock. Any player who takes more than
the allotted time will be penalized while your group is out of position. If you have any questions regarding the new
Pace of Play Policy, please talk to an FSGA Tournament Director
