In the 16-18 age division, Chappell Brown, West Palm Beach, is the number one seed as the 2005 Boys Junior Champion. The 2005 Boys Junior Championship runner-up Cameron Knight, from Dade City, is ranked the number two seed. The round of 16 will begin on Saturday, August 27, with the quarterfinals beginning that afternoon. The semifinals and finals will be played on Sunday, August 28.
In the 13-15 age division, Wesley Graham, of Port Orange, is seeded number one after his win at the 2005 Boys Junior Championship. Christopher Carlin, from Pembroke Pines, is ranked the number two seed after topping the Florida Junior Tour points list for his age division. The 2005 Boy’s Junior Championship runner-up Phillip Choi, of Orlando is ranked as the number six seed.
This invitation only event features the top male junior golfers ages 13-15 and 16-18. Invitations are based on the Boys Junior Championship and the Florida Junior Tour rankings. In the 16-18 age division, fourteen have been chosen from either their performance at the Boys Junior Championship or the Florida Junior Tour points list. Two other players based on their performance will round out the field of 16 in the regular division. In the 13-15 age division, eight players have been invited based on their performance from the Boy’s Junior Championship or the Florida Junior Tour points list.
