VALRICO, Fla. – In the concluding event of the 2025 Winter Series at Buckhorn Springs Golf & Country Club, Kyle Martin (Mid-Amateur), Steven Ray (Senior), and Richard Kerper (Super-Senior) took home season-ending victories. The first round featured perfect conditions, while the final round brought challenging winds, giving players the opportunity to showcase their skills across all aspects of the game.

Mid-Amateur Division

After Round One, Kyle Martin emerged as the solo leader after an opening round of 70 (-2). His strong start, including a birdie on the first hole, carried over into three more birdies throughout the day. Close behind in second was Nilo Sanchez, who shot a 1-under 70. Tied for third were Tiger Godwin and Ryan Borruso, both finishing with a score of 73.

Martin continued to pull away as the heavy winds started to challenge the rest of the field. Martin finished with a commanding 12-stroke lead ahead the rest of the field after a 2-under final round. In second place was Tiger Godwin, while Ryan Borruso rounded out the top three.

Senior Division

Steven Ray dominated the Senior Division with a 4-under 68, the lowest round of the day across all three divisions. Ray's front nine featured five birdies, giving him a 4-stroke lead over the rest of the field. Adam Creighton was the closest competitor, shooting an even-par 72 after trading birdies and bogeys throughout his round. Chris Berens and William Shufelt were tied for third, both finishing with opening rounds of 74.

Ray continued his domination in the Senior Division on the final day, finishing eight strokes ahead of the rest of the field. He carded a total of four birdies during his final round to finish with a score of 73. Adam Creighton captured second place, while John Gabler finished in third.

Super-Senior Division

Richard Kerper and Earl Lanoue ended Round One tied for the lead, both shooting 1-under 70. Lanoue played a consistent round, staying near the top of the leaderboard and maintaining a strong chance for the top spot. However, Kerper’s eagle on the 9th hole moved him to 3-under, allowing him to share the lead with Lanoue by day's end, despite a bogey on his 4th and 18th hole. Tom Davis rounded out the top three with an even-par 72 in his opening round.

Kerper fired a clean second round even-par 72 to claim victory in the Super-Senior Division. Earl Lanoue claimed second place at 4-over total, while Tom Davis finished in third place.
