I am often asked by others, "what is the best way to learn the Rules?'" My answer is always similar to, "there is no easy way, it takes a lot of time, patience, reading, and studying to learn the Rules." I wrote an article years ago that included links to several resouces; see that article HERE.
The USGA recently released a new learning tool that is very helpful; it is called Rules 101. It is a free online course that teaches the Rules by focusing on one topic at a time and then gives you a few quiz questions to test your knowledge. You can go through the class at your own pace and revisit previous topics to reinforce your knowledge. All you need to get started is to click the link below an set up a free USGA account. Enjoy!
