The home for Tri-County Junior Golf Foundation is located at the intersection of Lake, Marion and Sumter counties and therefore serves the youth golfers of those golfers. The organization became a 501(c)(3) foundation in October of 2008 after operating as a Florida non-profit since October 2006.
During this time the organization successfully received four grants from the Florida Sports Foundation Golf License Tag Grant. By focusing on introducing golf through the schools, one goal of Tri-County Junior Golf Foundation is to create the interest to feed young golfers to the various programs in our area.
