SARASOTA, Fla. - Four players left Sara Bay Country Club on Tuesday with wins at the second Summer Amateur Series event of the year - Dalton Shettle (Amateur), Chester VandenBerg (Mid-Amateur), Earl Lanoue (Senior), and Doug LaCrosse (Super-Senior).

Amateur

Shettle played the low round of the tournament with his final round 69 and capped it off with a birdie on the first playoff hole to take home his win.  After a first-round 75, which left him three shots back of the lead, Shettle started his final round hot with three birdies and turned at 1-under for the day.  He would go on to play his best nine holes of the event with a 2-under 34, which included birdies on16 and 17 to finish the tournament at even par. Johnny Tucker fired rounds of 73-71 to finish at even par for the event along with Shettle. On the first playoff hole, the par-4 10th, Shettle hit his approach shot to 2 feet and rolled in his birdie after Tucker missed his birdie attempt. Chase Ibbotson and Rhett Pooley finished in a tie for third at 2-over par.

Mid Amateur

In a very competitive Mid-Amateur Division,  VandenBerg came out on top after firing rounds of 72-74.  VandenBerg opened the event on Monday with a very smooth 72, which included an eagle and a birdie, to put him in a tie for the lead with Alex Bury.  An up and down start to the final round left VandenBerg at 1-over through his first nine holes. After a few early bogeys on his second nine, the Ruskin native turned it on birdieing his final three holes of the tournament to secure his victory.  Felipe Hasson fired the low round of the tournament in the Mid-Amateur Division with his final round 71 to spring him into a tie for second place with Richard Stapleton at 4-over par.

Senior

Lanoue captured the Senior Division title on Tuesday with rounds of 79-74.  The Tampa resident opened the tournament with a first-round 79 to leave him two shots back of Tom Myers heading into Tuesday's final round.  A steady 74, which included 16 pars and 2 bogeys, was enough to give Lanoue a two-shot victory over the field. Myers fired rounds of 77-78 to finish in second and Rokki Rogan shot 81-75 to finish in solo third.

Super-Senior

LaCrosse finished atop the Super-Senior Division at Sara Bay after firing rounds of 75-72.  The Tampa native started the final round three shots back of the leader, after his 75 in Monday's opening round.  He would go on to play the best round of the day in his division, finishing at even par for the day and passing a number of players to claim his Summer Amateur Series victory.  LaCrosse battled it out down the stretch with playing competitor Bobby Lundquist, who fired a final round 73, to finish 1-shot back of LaCrosse in solo second. Greg Shires finished in third by himself with rounds of 73-76.
