Bradley, Fischer Win at Conservatory

PALM COAST, Fla. James Bradley and Jordan Fischer picked up Florida Junior Tour victories at the exempt event on Sunday. Bradley earned the in the Boys 13-18 Division at The Conservatory at Hammock Beach, while Fischer was victorious in the Girls 13-18 Division.

This is the first FJT win for Bradley, while Fischer secured her second win of the season.

Boys 13-18

Bradley used a 4-under 140 to capture his first FJT win on Sunday. The Valrico native began the tournament with a 2-under 70 to take the first-round lead with a one-shot lead over the field.

After a birdie to begin the day, Bradley ran into some trouble with back-to-back bogeys, but rebounded with a birdie to close out the front side. He continued his strong play with birdies on three of his final four holes, to finish the tournament with another 2-under 70.

Bradley took home the one-shot victory and was one of only two players in the field to post two under-par rounds.

Campbell Kennedy and Andrew Riley finished tied for second at 3-under 141. Both fired a 5-under 67 in Sunday’s final round, the low round of the championship. Kiko Francisco Coelho finished fourth at 2-under 142, finishing the weekend with two under-par rounds (71-71).

Girls 13-18

Fischer captured her second FJT win of the season in wire-to-wire fashion, finishing the tournament at 4-under 140. She took a share of the first-round lead with Angelica Holman, after a 2-under 70 on Saturday.

The North Fort Myers resident got off to a hot start with three birdies on her first five holes. Fischer ran into some trouble, closing out the front side with a bogey and a double bogey.

She rebounded with a bogey-free back nine, adding three birdies, to finish the weekend with another 2-under 70 and secure the win. Fischer was the lone player in the field to card two under-par rounds for the tournament.

Hina Matsui finished second at 1-under 143. The Port Saint Lucie resident fired a 2-under 70 in the final round to take second place. Matsui and Fischer were the only two players in the Girls Division to finish under par.

Holman took home third place at 5-over 149, while Sabree Lefebvre finished fourth at 6-over 150.
